Let the colours inspire you

Tap any colour to see what to look for — then collect as many as you can. No colour is off-limits and none is a must; the more shades on the plate, the better.

Strawberries

Did you know? A strawberry wears its seeds on the outside — about 200 of them each!

Tomatoes

Did you know? Tomatoes are really a fruit, but they love hanging out with the veg at dinner.

Red peppers

Did you know? A red pepper is just a green one that ripened on the plant until it turned sweet.

Watermelon

Did you know? Watermelon is about 92% water — that's why it's so splashy and refreshing.

Our story

It started at a kitchen table

Monkey Meals began with one mum, a sheet of paper and a son who found new foods hard. He is neurodivergent, and mealtimes had become the most stressful part of the day — for him and for her.

So she stopped pushing and made it a game instead. A colour chart on the fridge. A tick for every colour he tried, in whatever way he wanted to make his mark. No clean plates, no bargaining — just points, and a lot of pride.

Now we do this every week, and it's part of our routine to keep our meals healthy, colourful and fun.
